Robertsons Brooches

1970

 

1970 brought a change in the design of the golly badge. The waistcoat had returned to its previous yellow colour    but now without the "Golden shred" and the hair was more curly

Initially eleven badges were produced but in 1977 two further badges were added to the set, Skateboarder and Motorcyclist

REV Gomm was the major manufacturer of this set of badges and produced the full set. Later Fattorini and Coffer assisted but produced only a small selection

During the 1970's  a special limited set of golly pendants were issued. They were made of sterling silver, glass enamelled and consisted of the following designs:
3 Footballers 2 Tennis players
Golfer Skater
Standard

It is suspected that at this time a set of sterling silver brooches was made but never actually issued. Approximately five sets are known to exist
